Notice to all families, RCPS is still accepting applications for Free/Reduced meals for the 2023-2024 school year. These applications can be obtained from and returned to Brandi Hollenbeck. They are also available on our website. Free/Reduced percentages affect some of our federal dollars we receive and we are currently below the threshold to receive some money. If you are not sure whether or not you would qualify, it doesn't hurt to apply.

Just a reminder that the 5th and 6th graders will be having a bake sale tomorrow (Wednesday, November 29th) after school for K-6th graders. Please DO NOT send more than $1.00 with your student, we won't have proper change!

The Bassett Arts Council is hosting Wendy Bantam for our seasonal Artist in Residency, Dec 11th through the 15th. The Rock County Library will be hosting along with the BAC, After School classes with Wendy each day from 4pm to 530pm at the Old Feed Store Art Center, with a reception Friday evening to showcase their works. There are a limited number of spots, ages 9+, & a commitment to attend each day. Please contact Macey at the library to sign up before all the spots are full!

We are adding a JH girls basketball game at RC at 3:30pm on Tuesday, Nov 21st with O'Neill Public. They will be playing 6 quarters total.

The city of Bassett is in a boil water order. Students cannot drink from the water fountains until December 5th, at the soonest. If you live outside of city limits and you have your own well, please send your child with a water bottle.

"Intro to Life" Event What a great opportunity for our Sophomores tomorrow!

This year at RCHS we are trying to build a positive school culture. School spirit is more than just Go Knights. We asked the students to have a poster war to create positive encouraging messages. A community member graciously donated gift certificates to Scotts Place for the winners. Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Severin's Advisory groups were the winners of the contest. Each group will receive a pizza party with drinks for winning.

We will be having crazy sock day, hat day, pajama day, workout gear day, and knights gear. Also at BGS the class that has the most kids dress up throughout the week will earn an extra PE.
