Day 2 of Homecoming week was "Livin' in LA". The winners of this dress up day at BGS were Ryan and Hudsynn.

Reminder for 7-12th grade students: there’s an FFA meeting tonight in the multi at 7pm. Supper will be provided!

BGS kicked off Homecoming week by "Day Trippin to DC" and wore Red, White and Blue. Mondays dress up winner are Piper and Tinley.

*NEW Parents Night Protocol* Starting this Fall (2023) North Central will start conducting Parents Night differently. Only the Seniors and their Parents will come onto the Floor/out onto mid-Field to be recognized. All underclassmen and managers will stand along the Sideline of the gym floor/End zone on the football field and step forward when their name is announced. When the athletes name is announced parents, in the stands, should stand up and be recognized as well.

Homecoming 2023 info:

Volleyball CHANGE for Thursday. We will not be having a C-Team game on Thursday with Ainsworth. The JV match will start at 6:00PM and they will be playing an extra set. The varsity match will follow.

BGS Running Club permission slips are being sent home today. BGS Running Club is for 3rd-6th Grade. All younger students are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Due to the extreme heat, here are the NC Practice schedules for next week August 21st. Junior High Football—At Springview---Monday and Tuesday—5:30 p.m.—7:00 p.m. Wednesday after school—Multipurpose room will utilized. Thursday and Friday normal practice time. High School Football—At Bassett—Monday and Tuesday—5:30 p.m.—8:00 p.m. Wednesday-5:30 A.M.—7:00 A.M.—Thursday-normal practice time Junior High Cross Country—Workouts will be provided to Athletes Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday so they can workout at home in the morning or evening. High School Cross Country- at Springview—Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 6:00 A.M—7:00 A.M.. Friday—Normal practice time (Thursday Meet @ Valentine - NEW START TIME @ 9:00AM) High School and Junior High Volleyball—No change to practice times.
